WESTPORT, CT — A $50,000 winning Powerball lottery ticket was recently sold in Westport, the Connecticut Lottery announced.
The winner hasn’t been identified, but lottery officials said the ticket was sold at a local Cumberland Farms convenience store.
Officials stated, “Until the individual presents the winning ticket for claim at CT Lottery Headquarters, the identity of a winner is unknown.”
The winning Powerball numbers are drawn every Monday, Wednesday and Saturday at 10:59 p.m. Eastern time, with Powerball results usually posted within 5 minutes.
